Tim Rempel, Rempel Architecture Inc
Liz Miranda, Branding Properties
“It’s about design, building GREEN as it matters - and in the end, we hope to create inspiring spaces”.
DEDICATED TEAM OF PASSIONATE ARTISTS
Tim and Liz lived three years at 69 Lovell while planning this project. The process however was far from easy. Almost five years in the making the project ironically will be the last of its kind because the City of Mill Valley changed its zoning ordinance during our approvals and now limits housing density. Projects of this size will no longer be allowed and instead smaller 1200 SF + units will be the norm.
They are hands-on designer developers. They guide all aspects from design, permits, coordination with specialty fabricators, to personally building components of the project. Beyond managing the finance and procuring all the finishes, Liz designed and also planted the low-water landscape and staged the homes with their own furniture. Tim built the Mahogany entry door, the two entry gates and some of the interior cabinets. Liz’s dear friend and interiors design partner Cindy Polansky’s keen sense for design and details has been the other critical eye. Miles Roberts, their son designed and drew the exterior steel gate for fabrication. Each home is an opportunity to innovate and it takes a team of passionate people to transform vision to reality.
